Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Works alongside an assigned Technician to learn to perform quality Truck and LCV service
- maintenance and repairs.
- Assists assigned Technician as needed.
- Deliver vehicles to service bays as requested by technicians.
- Picks up parts from the parts department as directed by Technician.
- Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and
- minor repairs as directed.
- Replenishes supplies as requested by Technicians or Fleet Controller.
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Attends training classes and departmental meetings.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,
and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- No prior experience or training.
- Matriculation or any post matric studies
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certificate of education, and valid Driver's License, Code 10 or 14 preferable
Pay: From R6 500,00 per month
