Job Description:
We are seeking a proficient TLB (Tractor-Loader-Backhoe) Operator with a valid competency certificate, a Code 10 driver’s license, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operating TLB machinery safely and efficiently in a construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate the TLB to perform various construction and excavation tasks, including digging, trenching, loading, and backfilling.
· Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of the TLB to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
· Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring the safety of the worksite and all personnel.
· Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other team members to execute projects according to specifications.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed, machinery usage, and management of plant breakdown.
· Ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest standards of quality, within a stipulated timeline.
· Perform any additional tasks as required by the project or site supervisor.
Requirements:
· Valid TLB Operator competency certificate.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a TLB in construction or civil engineering.
· Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
· Contactable references from previous employers. failure to submit will result in application being rejected.
· Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
· Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions.
· High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
· Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Adherence to standard operating standard procedure, and company rules and regulations.
· Ability to write formal reports.
