Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an Academic Programme Convener within the Faculty of Humanities, with specialisation in Graphic Design, on a permanent basis. The successful incumbent will be based at Midrand Eduvos campus.
The Position:
- To manage the day-to-day delivery of lecturing of Graphic Design qualifications at the Midrand campus and provide support for Honours in Graphic Design and online offerings for the Faculty
Position Type:
Minimum qualification:
- A relevant Master’s degree in Humanities, preferably in specialisation in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or Media Studies
- Additionally, a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, or a Bachelors degree in Media Studies with Graphic Design Specialisation
- A PhD in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or Media Studies will be advantageous
Experience:
- At least five years’ experience as a lecturer in the higher education industry
- Either demonstrated management potential or management experience of at least two years
- Publishing of academic journals will be advantageous
Responsibilities:
As the Academic Programme Convener, you will be primarily responsible for the following:

- Fulfil the role of lecturer as required and agreed – but the main focus of the role is to manage academic delivery / managing the lecturers
