Senwes is looking for a Head: Legal to lead the Group's legal function by providing strategic, commercial and operational legal support across the business. This role is responsible for ensuring legal risks are effectively identified, managed and mitigated while enabling commercially sound decision-making, protecting the Group's interests, and ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic legal advisory and commercial support.
- Leadership of the Group Legal function.
- Litigation, dispute resolution and regulatory management.
- Legal risk management and compliance.
- Legal governance, contracts and policy development.
- Leadership, people development and stakeholder management.
Qualifications and experience: LLB or equivalent legal qualification. Minimum 5–8 years' post-qualification legal experience in corporate/commercial law. Experience leading an in-house legal function or managing a senior legal advisory portfolio will be essential. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and regulatory legislation. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
