Job Description:
The incumbent should be able to perform the full accounting function up to trail balance as well as have worked in a team and a very deadline driven environment.
Job Specifications:
- Journals, Importing/ Exporting and processing up to trial balance
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Electronic Funds Transfers
- Income and payments on bank statement to balance to cashbook
- Correct account, cost centre and company allocations
- Invoices to be checked
- Respond to queries
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Financial qualification (Degree/B Tech)
- A minimum of 2 years’ working experience preferably within the financial services industry
Skills/Competencies
- Analytical ability (reasoning & questioning)
- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills – must be able to speak Afrikaans
- Results Orientated
- Strong time management Skills
- Resilient
- Systems Skills and knowledge (Excel essential, Tial advantageous)
