Griller / Grill Chef
Location: Tin Cup Driving Range & Restaurant - Johannesburg South
Tin Cup is looking for an experienced and passionate Griller to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals, works well under pressure and is committed to maintaining excellent food standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 3 consecutive years' experience working as a griller in a busy restaurant or grill house.
- Proven experience cooking steaks, burgers, ribs, chicken, and other grilled menu items.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Able to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all grilled menu items to Tin Cup's standards.
- Ensure all food is cooked consistently and presented professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic grill station.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Minimise food waste and ensure correct portion control.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general kitchen duties when required.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure fast and efficient service.
