About Agility Projects & Consulting
Agility Projects & Consulting is seeking highly qualified Electrical Engineering Professionals to join our team for upcoming electrical infrastructure and metering projects. We are looking for experienced professionals who can provide technical leadership, engineering oversight, quality assurance, and compliance management within the electrical engineering environment.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 7)
- Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as:
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng), or
- Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng)
- Minimum three (3) years relevant industry experience
- Valid South African driver’s licence
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution networks, metering systems, and electrical infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional engineering services and technical oversight.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assurance activities.
- Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Support project planning, implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Participate in technical evaluations, investigations, and risk assessments.
- Prepare professional engineering reports and recommendations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:
- Electricity metering systems
- AMR and AMI technologies
- Electrical distribution infrastructure
- Municipal electricity networks
- Eskom-related projects
- Technical auditing and quality assurance
- Large Power User (LPU) metering installations
