We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Grinder & Polisher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision grinding and polishing of engineering components.
- Operate grinding and polishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure and inspect components to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Carry out general workshop duties as required.
Applicant Requirements:
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Competent in the use of micrometers and Vernier calipers.
- Experience operating a conventional lathe machine.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Must have Qualifications:
- Relevant engineering or machining qualification will be advantageous.
- Matric certificate
- Experience working to close tolerances.
