Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise workshop staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of workshop equipment, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
- Monitor workflow and adjust resources as necessary to maintain optimal production levels.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
- Manage inventory levels and procurement of workshop supplies and materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop or similar production environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to workshop operations.
- Demonstrable experience in project management, including planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Proficient in using workshop machinery and tools relevant to the industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software or other relevant tools.
- Certifications in health and safety management would be an advantage.
