Looking for a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join their Security team as a Security Manager in the Security Department. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient and accurate service to the company by providing managerial and operational support.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Security Managers primary purpose is to provide management support within the Security department. The incumbent will lead and support the team to ensure compliance with business processes and contribute to performance improvement within the Security division. The position will be responsible, but not limited to the following tasks:
Responsibilities (NOT limited to the below)
Identify and mitigate risks
Control room management
Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures
Visit satellite branches on a daily basis to identify possible security risk
Daily risk assessments and evaluations of branches
Manage on site security staff
Risk auditing and reporting
Develop a network of intelligence to identify high loss areas and implement corrective actions
Ensure that correct standard operating procedures are adhered to
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
2 years supervisory experience
Drivers License
Knowledge of security management.
