The General Manager will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of Sonny & Irene, ensuring a seamless blend of exceptional service, culinary excellence, and efficient management. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

Oversee all aspects of café operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Monitor daily operations, address any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Recruit, train, and develop team members, ensuring they adhere to the café’s standards and deliver exceptional service.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Guest Experience:

Enhance the guest experience by creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects the café’s unique character and style.

Address guest feedback and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Develop and implement strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
Financial Management:

Manage the café’s budget, including overseeing expenses, revenue, and profitability.

Menu and Product Management:

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine the menu, ensuring it aligns with the café’s concept and guest preferences.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality or food and beverage industry, with a strong background in café or upmarket restaurant management.
