About the Role:
To drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the company's products in the region, while managing a sales and merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To Manage Expenses and Reporting by: Monitoring expenses, implement cost-saving measures, and generate detailed reports for financial transparency. Proactively managing expenses and providing transparent financial reports, contribute to informed decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
- To implement Sales Strategy Planning in your area by: Conducting thorough market research, collaborate on strategy development, and adapt plans to market changes. Conducting comprehensive market research and adapting strategies to changing market dynamics, contribute to achieving a competitive edge and maximising revenue.
- To manage and coordinate and create a high performing area sales team by: Providing guidance, encourage collaboration, and offer support to ensure cohesive team progress. Providing effective leadership and teamwork, foster an environment of collaboration and support, leading to improved team performance and successful attainment of business goals.
- To build and maintain good Customer Relationships by: Engaging with customers, providing personalised solutions, and gathering feedback, contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and overall revenue growth.
- To support effective Market Research by: Assisting in research initiatives, gather data, and present findings for informed decision-making. Contributing to research efforts, data collection, and presentation of findings, facilitate informed decision-making and help identify emerging opportunities in the market.
- To collect Sales Data as needed to improve sales performance by: Collecting sales data and translate insights into actions. Converting insights into actionable plans, contribute to optimising sales performance and uncovering areas for growth.
- Grade 12/Matric (Essential)
- Business management and or sales qualification (Desirable)
- 5-7 years FMCG sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. (Essential)
- 2-3 years - Experience in managing sales teams and driving team performance. (Essential)
- Customer relations management skills (Essential)
- Leadership and people management skills (Essential)
- Knowledge of the region, and experience working with retailers and wholesalers in the region. (Intermediate)
