Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Dispatch Analyst to support and optimize dispatch operations by monitoring performance, analysing operational data, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods. The successful candidate will work closely with the dispatch, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to improve efficiency, reduce delivery errors, and maintain high service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse daily dispatch performance, delivery schedules, and order fulfilment data.
- Monitor dispatch accuracy, delivery turnaround times, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve dispatch and logistics processes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch performance reports.
- Reconcile dispatched orders against customer orders and inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve dispatch discrepancies, shortages, and delivery variances.
- Ensure all dispatch documentation is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate with warehouse, stock control, transport, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Maintain and update dispatch records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.
- Support route planning and dispatch scheduling to improve delivery efficiency.
- Monitor customer service levels and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation related to dispatched stock.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse operations, or data analysis.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with logistics reporting and KPI analysis.
- Knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Power Query, or other reporting tools (advantageous).
- Understanding of inventory control and supply chain processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
