About the role
As a Key Accounts Manager, you'll oversee the outsourced real estate portfolio for a leading national Financial and Professional Services Provider in South Africa. Your role encompasses strategic planning, data and technology management, estate management, financial oversight, and transaction management.
You'll leverage your strong financial acumen to analyze and report on financials, ensuring real estate services meet KPIs and performance standards. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the strategy team to develop and implement regional strategies, managing resources to achieve desired outcomes.
What you will bring

Business studies with a focus on real estate or a comparable qualification with a real estate emphasis.

At least 10 years of professional experience in real estate management, particularly in collaboration with real estate occupiers.

Strong service and client orientation with excellent communication skills.

Proven ability to work as a team player with a strong goal orientation and high initiative.

Structured working methods with strong prioritization abilities.

What you will be doing
As a Key Accounts Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the client's portfolio, ensuring exceptional service quality and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities include leading and developing your team, providing industry insights, and facilitating access to CBRE Excellerate’s services. You will be the primary contact for all client matters, maintaining compliance with contracted services and ensuring effective commercial management of the account.
Key tasks include:

Leading the implementation and performance of all contracted services while maintaining the commercial framework.

Collaborating with account delivery teams and functional heads to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.

Driving cost optimization initiatives and supporting financial reporting and management.

Overseeing team hiring, training, performance tracking, and satisfaction.

Building effective partnerships across functions and managing communication channels for issue resolution.

Understanding the client’s operations to align CBRE Excellerate services with their needs and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Maintaining regular communication with client stakeholders and CBRE Excellerate teams to ensure service alignment and performance, and leading performance reviews to align with strategic goals.
