A busy bistro-style restaurant situated on a beautiful Wine Estate in Somerset West is searching for an additional Front of House Supervisor to assist them during season. This is a SEASONAL POSITION only and will run for 7 months from 1 October 2024 - 30 April 2025.
The role would suit a Candidate who is experienced & comfortable managing a busy resturant with a big watiron complement. As the restaurant layout is quite spread out, candidates need to be able to multi-task to ensure that all areas of the restaurant are given exceptional service.
Key Performance Areas include:
Customer service with attention to detail
Supervision of front of house and beverage staff
Restaurant administration
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Hospitality diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in a similar position,
Excellent people and communication skills
A strong sense and understanding of what constitutes world class service
A team player
Strong administration skills
For noting: This restaurant operates from Monday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch service and will also operate Thurs, Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner from September 2024. The successful candidate, would as such, be required to work on a 5 day a week shift basis that includes weekends shifts.
