POSITION PURPOSE
To support the Broll technical office at ARM in Edenvale to ensure daily operations are managed from end to end and all quality matters are met.
Office duties
1. Ensure all admin are completed daily.
This includes , safety checks , invoices , quotes and all required documentation
2. Ensure all quotations are completed daily and on time and supplied to the office support to update the client
3. Ensure staff are equipped with the necessary PPE and tools to perform their duties
4. Do site inspections and over the shoulder training with staff to ensure quality of work and asses risk as skills on site.
5. Ensure all documentation are in place to check and audit tools , ladders and all legal complaint equipment
6. Have weekly meetings with staff to identify risk, operational challenges and support the staff.
7. Ensure proper material management through the system and process so that staff are issued with the correct material prior to going to site.
8. Manage staff performance and HR matters.
9. Support and motivate staff to upskill and improve efficiencies and create a positive working environment
10. Support the office support staff with all documentation and financial documents to ensure costing are done correctly as to each task / job completed.
11. Meet with suppliers to negotiate rates and implement supplier agreements where needed via the support and sign off from Broll head office
12. Assess monthly expenditure and implement process and initiatives with the executive to bring efficiencies and cost savings.
13. Conduct weekly vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
14. Implement regular upskill training with accredited vendors for staff to ensure we stay abreast with the latest technologies.
15. Create a positive working environment through professional conduct and building relationship with staff.
16. Generate new income through marketing and building current client relationships and seek new opportunities for new business.
17. Follow up on completed work with customer liaison and work inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
18. Follow up with clients on completed work and test their satisfaction on the services rendered.
19. Build a material database to ensure proper quotes can be done and work with the store supply to ensure material management are optimised.
20. Check staff job cards to ensure the correct time management and cost are captured before it is handed to the office support.
21. Scrutinise service provider invoices and service reports for quality and compliance
22. Ensure all scheduled work are done on time and to set standards
23. Inspect all corrective work for quality compliance and supportive documents.
24. Do site visits to compile and complete quotes
25. You will be required to work overtime as and when so required.
26. You will be required to support the office staff over weekends as and when work so required.
27. Manage staff performance and apply HR process for disciplinary process
28. Issue and manage all required PPE to the staff.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
The SLA with our client will be used as a measurement of performance as well as the feedback on assessments from management and reporting structures.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
grade 12,
Electrical trade test with Wireman’s license
RSA Citizen
No Criminal record
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Must have computer skills, know IT management systems, reporting, and meeting
