A family is looking for an AU PAIR / HOUSE MANAGER for their children aged 12 years old and 14 years old
Area: Stellenbosch
Ages: children aged 14 years old and 12 years old
Working hours: Monday – Friday: 13h00 – 17h00
School holiday hours: Hours to be discussed and confirmed prior to each holiday period
Duties: Assisting with the general household administration including but not limited to the following: booking of flights; shopping, household and family related administration. Booking appointments for the employer and children Collecting the children from school and extra murals. Homework and school project supervision. Assisting with anything childcare related. Engage the children in intellectually stimulating play and activities (employee to keep up to date with and implement appropriate developmentally stimulating techniques and activities). Transport children to doctors or any other appointments. Using petty cash/petrol card/family credit card to purchase school supplies and any other items the children require. Accompany children on outings. Ad hoc errands. Monitoring of the school communication and administration. Proactive communication with parents.
Requirements: Computer Literate, well spoken in English and Afrikaans would be a bonus, use their own initiative
Start date: September 2024 start – permanent contract
Salary: R10 000 per month plus petrol
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
