Brief Description of Key Performance Area
- Assist with controlling the SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality) activities at Amrod so that operations function effectively.
- Assisting with the implementation and improvement of the health and safety plans, programmes, and procedures in the workplace.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and reduce hazards, incidents, and accidents in the workplace.
- Assist with ensuring effective and compliant waste management practices.
- Monitor storage protocols for hazardous materials and report deviations.
- Identify potential risks and hazards within the workplace, assess their potential impact, and work with leaders to implement corrective measures.
- Conduct regular audits/inspections, compile reports, and report potential/real risks to manager.
- Ensure effective ordering, issuing and control of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
