You will be embedded into the ecosystem of one or two of our key international clients (primarily based in the UK), delivering high-value data science work while backed by the technical expertise of our internal senior engineering and data science teams.
The Role & What You’ll Do
As a Data Scientist & Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex data and real-world business strategy. This is a unique hybrid role of technical execution and client-facing consulting.
- Data Science Execution: Clean, analyze, model and interpret complex datasets to solve unique challenges for our international clients.
- Client Consulting: Communicate directly with UK-based client stakeholders. Because of the close timezone alignment, collaboration is smooth and you will primarily rely on asynchronous communication to keep projects moving without constant meeting fatigue.
- AI-Augmented Workflow: You won’t be doing this the old-fashioned way. You will be fully equipped with premium AI development tools and LLM access to supercharge your workflow, automate boilerplate tasks and focus on high-level problem-solving.
- Collaborative Support: While you will own your client delivery, you are never stranded on an island. You will be onboarded, mentored and consistently supported by our senior data scientists and engineers.
What We Are Looking For
- An Adaptable Problem Solver: We don't care about a hyper-specific tech stack. Whether your weapon of choice is Python, R, SQL, or specialized ML frameworks, what matters most is your foundational understanding of data science principles and your ability to learn fast.
- Strong Communicator: Since you’ll be interfacing directly with international clients, you need to be comfortable translating technical data insights into clear, actionable business value—especially in writing.
- Tech-Forward Mindset: An eagerness to embrace and integrate cutting-edge AI tools into your daily engineering workflow.
- Experience: A Junior-to-Intermediate level of experience. If you are a sharp junior looking to accelerate your growth, or an intermediate looking for international exposure, you'll thrive here.

Pay: R120,00 - R200,00 per hour
