Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, expand and maintain the regional dealer network, building strong long-term relationships with existing and potential dealers to improve market coverage and market share.
- Manage dealer performance and day-to-day business activities, including regular dealer visits, performance reviews and operational checks, and adjust sales and channel strategies based on market conditions.
- Provide regular field support and sales guidance to dealers, identify and resolve issues related to sales, inventory, marketing and customer service, and support the resolution of major dealer or customer issues.
- Drive regional sales targets by working closely with dealers to develop sales plans, monitor performance and analyse sales, inventory and market data to ensure annual targets are achieved.
- Monitor the South African automotive market, competitor activities, consumer trends and local market developments; gather market insights and develop practical sales, dealer development and marketing initiatives.
- Follow up on key dealer business processes, including vehicle payment, transportation, delivery and inventory management, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, vehicle delivery and stock turnover.
- Support dealers in implementing retail sales and marketing activities, including promotions, test-drive events and customer engagement activities, and monitor their effectiveness and sales conversion.
- Prepare regular reports on regional sales, inventory, competitors and market trends, and provide market and dealer insights to support business decisions and sales strategy.
- Work closely with Marketing, Aftersales, Logistics, Finance and other internal teams to resolve dealer-related issues and improve overall operational efficiency and dealer experience.
- Perform other duties related to the role and other reasonable tasks assigned by the Company or line manager.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or above in Business Administration, Automotive Management, Marketing, Sales Management, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred.
- Relevant professional qualifications or training in automotive sales, dealer management, channel management, marketing or automotive retail are advantageous.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive sales, dealer management or channel management.
- Experience with an OEM, automotive dealer group, automotive retail business or related industry is preferred.
- Experience in dealer network management and vehicle sales is preferred.
- Good understanding of the South African automotive market and dealer operations; an established dealer network or regional customer base is an advantage.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare sales analysis, business reports and presentations independently.
Pay: R30 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month
