Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore.
The successful applicant will report to the Materials Controller or nominee.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate.

Code 08 (B) Driver’s Licence.

Advantageous: Certificate: Basic Storekeeping / Office Administration.
EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

2-3 year’s Materials handling / Stores exposure in a Plant / Mining environment.
DUTIES (including but not limited to):

Ensure all operations and activities related to receiving are processed in a safe, timeous and accurate manner.

All material is registered on the system upon delivery and proof of delivery and goods receipt slips are processed for payment. A counter inspection is performed on the goods received and reconciled in terms of quantity and specification, part number and condition against the original order. All stock items are identified with the material number, unitized according to the buying description and the date of receipt is written on all perishables. Non Stock items are recorded in a book, which accompanies the goods to the end user. The end user signs for the goods in the book and on the goods receipt voucher, where after the goods receipt voucher is filed alphabetically/ numerically. Material for Quality inspection/Counter inspection is stacked in the identified inspection bay. Forklift operating for receiving goods.

All documents such as binning slips, goods receipt vouchers etc. for stock and non-stock items are kept together to be sent to Finance for payments using the delivery note. Capture all delivery notes and invoices on Excel spreadsheet and reconcile with Security delivery report. File all courier receipt documents and MSDS sheets.

Correct procedures are followed when receiving hazardous material. All material received is stored safely according to set specifications in a designated area. Gas cylinders are binned in the Gas Store to SHERQ requirements. Hazardous materials, e.g. paint and Hydrochloric Acid are unloaded directly at their respective stores during the receiving process. For safety reasons arsenic is binned in the arsenic store on the same day as it is received. Ensure good housekeeping in own work area and designated store areas. Perform risk assessments when required. Perform lock-out procedure when required.
