Full Job Description

Our Trade Mark Enforcement Department has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, detail driven and proactive Paralegal | Trade Mark Administrator to join our established and growing practice. You will work alongside experienced IP professionals and gain practical exposure to Trade Mark enforcement matters. If you thrive in a deadline driven professional environment and enjoy getting the detail right, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities of the Paralegal | Trade Mark Administrator will include, but are not limited to:

Managing Trade Mark files, documentation, evidence and deadlines.
Maintaining accurate matter and diary information on relevant systems.
Supporting Trade Mark enforcement matters, including bundles, evidence and court related administration.
Assisting with Trade Mark Registry searches, journal watching, status checks and CIPC processes.
Coordinating communication and documentation with clients, foreign agents, counsel and other stakeholders.
Supporting billing, time recording and disbursement administration.
Providing reliable day to day support to the Trade Mark Enforcement team.

Minimum requirements:

Completed diploma | equivalent in law.
At least 2 years' relevant experience in an IP law firm, legal environment or similar professional services environment.
Practical knowledge of Trade Marks is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A professional, client focused approach.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with Patricia and Elite will be advantageous
