We are looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator for Client-Host Partnering to act as the vital link between our clients, host companies, and YES candidates. DUTIES
Overall Host Partner Liaison
- Implementation of multiple client accounts at a time by managing host partners’ workplace experience practice effectiveness while paying attention to detail and managing deadlines.
- Liaise with stakeholder ensuring alignment on client outcomes between clients, suppliers, service providers, Host partners regulatory body and cross-functional internal teams, co-ordinating to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs.
- Coordination collaboration, seek efficiencies and drive the required outcomes both from the business unit and from its people and resources.
Host Partner Sourcing
- Research and identify potential host employers across priority sectors with a demonstrated growth trajectory and alignment to youth development objectives.
- Leverage market insights and business data to prioritise prospects with long-term collaboration potential.
- Vet, and establish partnerships with host companies or entities to ensure quality workplace experience opportunities for candidates within various industries, NGOs, and SMMEs and
- Corporates that have valid entry level roles that can be absorbed. Foster sound partnerships that result in sustainable employment opportunities and drive economic pathways for youth.
- Conduct pre-hosting site visits to assess suitability and compliance with workplace experience Requirements.
- Map and maintain a pipeline of high-potential host partners segmented by industry, size, and transformation readiness.
- Ensure Host agreements are compliant and ensure relevant and industry/specific workplace operational requirements/ realities are clarified for matching effectiveness.
- Establish formal partnerships with effective National incubation hubs (strictly as exception) to expand host opportunities and enhance.
- Liaise between host companies or entities and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of matched-placement solutions.
YES Programme Matching Sustainable Outcomes
- Facilitate effective matching between youth and host employers to optimise skills alignment and potential for permanent placement.
- Track placement-to-absorption conversion metrics and identify factors influencing retention and absorption rates.
- Support recruitment and selection, by sharing available job roles that do align with YES candidate profiling to ensure an effective matched placement process.
- Collaborate with the Workplace Coordinator, Candidate and Account Manager to develop contract terms for candidate absorption and transfers.
- Develop the best practices for managing New Clients and host to collaborate on products and service.
- Conduct host satisfaction surveys and provide insights to the Business Growth Manager.
Risk Management
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential hosts’ operational stability, workplace readiness, mentorship capacity, and potential for youth absorption.
- Evaluate the host’s historical employment trends, growth stage, and alignment with transformation objectives.
- Ensure that host vetting complies with company, YES, and client quality standards.
- Assess workplace safety by conducting pre-hosting site visits and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws (EEA, BCEA, LRA, etc.).
- Ensure stipend payment, attendance records, leave record etc are accurate and up to date and collaborate in query handling, problem solving and dispute handling inclusive of stop stipend arrangements, disciplinary measures and compliant candidate termination.
- Manage the SLA contracting process with host companies and ensure compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Maintain up-to-date host files and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
Business Development & Relationship Building
- Identify and escalate high-value host prospects who show potential to transition into client partners investing in the YES programme or other group offerings.
- Collaborate with the Business Growth team to position YES as a BBBEE solution, promoting its benefits to host organisations capable of sponsoring placements.
- Introduce and cross-sell other solutions such as graduate programme, an/or broader Signa solutions to suitable prospects, while respecting SPs and Advisor’s relationships for existing hosts/clients.
Reporting
- Provide host companies with updates on YES program developments.
- Report to the Senior YES AccountManager and maintain a formal record of business
Leadership and Collaboration
- Foster a productive and supportive work environment that promotes employee well-being and retention.
- Collaborate with Recruitment and the Key Accounts Managers on all external placements.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company values and culture.
EDUCATION
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management would be advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge on the YES initiative, SETA’s/training legislation.
- Project Management Certificate will be advantageous.
- Advance knowledge of MS Office.
- Driver’s License with own / reliable transport
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years recruiting experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership and supervisory role
