We are seeking a dedicated and organized Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Pear Tree. In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and managing offers. You will work closely with clients to understand their hiring needs, provide market insights, and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to build lasting client and candidate relationships are essential for success in this position.

Salary: ZAR 18,300 to ZAR 21,500 per month
Working Hours & Conditions: SA business hours; Mondays to Fridays, 8:00AM to 5:00PM SA Time; full-time (remote)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As for the role, the Recruitment Consultant manages the full end-to-end hiring lifecycle, from initial sourcing and internal assessments to final placement and client coordination. The position requires a high-energy professional capable of hitting monthly placement targets while maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
A - SOURCING AND INTERVIEWING

Source candidates use various search methods (top 3-4 platforms used) to build a robust candidate pipeline

Pre-screen candidates by reviewing resumes and through phone screening to assess their relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes which best fit for partners/clients.

Conduct internal assessments - Pre-Screening, Grammar, and Initial interviews

Prepare profiles, resumes and correspondence to forward to clients regarding fit candidates and requesting references and checking the appropriateness of candidates

Manage the overall interview and selection process.
B - PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Define job description and document specifications

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Monitor projects once launched (job roles) and track progress until project completion

Coordinate with Recruitment Managers for project updates and reports

Prepare and submit project status reports to Recruitment Managers

Report and escalate projects to Recruitment Managers as needed
C - CANDIDATE MANAGEMENT

Keep candidates warm by providing updates on job postings

Inform candidates about the results of their assessments/interviews
D - CLIENT MANAGEMENT

Communicate with clients to get a clear view on their hiring needs and organizational goals

Build rapport with the clients and develop long-term client relationships

Present shortlisted candidates to the clients

Make arrangements/scheduling candidates with the client POC for Hiring manager’s interview

Closely coordinate with partners/clients regarding status updates of the candidates and making recommendations to hiring managers
E - INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE

Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.

Develop a sustainable candidate lead strategy.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Recruiter with full end-to-end recruitment responsibility

Mandatory experience recruiting for UK clients

Demonstrated experience sourcing and hiring roles within the mortgage industry, including:

Mortgage Brokers

Credit Analysts
-
Loan Processors
-
Parabrokers

Strong client management experience, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and build long-term relationships

Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven recruitment environment

Experience working in or supporting an Australian recruitment agency is highly preferred

Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools

Familiarity with Australian hiring practices, recruitment processes, and market expectations

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously

Experience using ATS platforms such as Workable, and Hubspot (CRM)

Ability to work remotely and align with Australian business hours
