Mogalakwena Edu Solutions (MESO) NPC is a community-driven, black-owned development organisation committed to sustainable development through education, environmental stewardship, enterprise development, agriculture and infrastructure support services.
This recruitment is being undertaken by MESO's Income Generation Unit, which delivers professional services to the mining industry, government institutions and the private sector. Revenue generated through this unit is reinvested into education, environmental conservation, skills development and community upliftment programmes.
Position Overview
Mogalakwena Edu Solutions (MESO) NPC invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Administrator.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and document control support to the project team, ensuring accurate record keeping, reporting, correspondence and efficient day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Site Manager and project team.
- Maintain project files, registers and records.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and meeting minutes.
- Capture and maintain employee attendance records.
- Maintain training, medical and personnel records.
- Coordinate document control and filing systems.
- Assist with procurement, stores and inventory records.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate project logistics.
- Receive and distribute project correspondence.
- Assist with monthly reporting and project administration.
- Ensure confidentiality of project information.
- Perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- National Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, Management Assistant or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum two (2) years' administrative experience.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Valid South African Driver's Licence will be an added advantage.
Added Advantages
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Previous experience supporting environmental, construction, mining or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with document control and record management.
- Experience preparing reports and maintaining project documentation.
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory administration.
- Experience working in a fast-paced project environment.
