3+ years’ WordPress experience and web development experience
Good understanding of responsive web design and a mobile first approach to development
Strong portfolio of work
Clean coding methods
CSS/CSS3 for front end templating
HTML 5
PHP
Javascript
Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator
Subversion (Git)
Database administration (MySQL)
Must be able to code own responsive template from PSD
Able to manipulate plugins to perform required functions (mentioning examples will be beneficial)
Experience using child themes and familiar plugins
Building new WordPress sites/systems from scratch (including themes and plugins)
Ability to work on Macintosh computer

Advise on optimisation tactics / best practice.
A strong visual eye and understanding of design concepts is necessary
Perspective on frontend (and backend) technologies and their impact on the design process
Converting custom designs to code for WordPress.
Frontend and backend (if possible) coding
Ensuring browser and device compatibility
Carrying out maintenance on existing WordPress sites
You have experience with modern web programming languages
Passionate about learning and continuous improvement
Up-to-date with technology
Solid troubleshooting skills
