Our well-known client within Harrismith (Freestate), is looking for a Private Chef (CEO & Family).
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Diploma or Certificate in professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a private chef, executive chef, sous chef or fine dining chef.
- Experience preparing a wide variety of local and international cuisines.
- Must have experience preparing and handling strictly Halaal food in accordance with Halaal dietary requirements and food preparation standards.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Valid RSA driver's license.
- Willingness to travel with the CEO and family.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and present strictly Halaa, nutritious, high-quality meals for the CEO and family.
- Ensure that all ingredients, food products, seasonings and preparation methods comply with Halaal dietary requirements.
- Source, purchase and manage fresh, high-quality Halaa-certified ingredients and household food supplies.
- Maintain stock control management and manage the kitchen inventory efficiently.
- Manage food budgets and minimise waste.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the CEO, family, guests and household affairs.
