About the role
The Grade C Security Officer will report directly to the Compliance Officer and will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Site Job Description, while supporting the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the site.

Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable)

Matric (Grade 12)

PSIRA Grade C registration
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security industry

1–2 years’ experience liaising directly with clients on security-related matters
Additional demonstrable requirements:

Sound knowledge of security industry regulations and operational requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professional appearance and personal presentation suitable for a client-facing role

Ability to compile and submit detailed reports

Enforce the Company Disciplinary Code of Conduct

Ensure efficient and effective operation of the site

Handle and resolve staff and client complaints professionally

Perform all duties in line with the Site Job Description

Take a proactive approach to security-related matters

Communicate effectively with staff, clients, management, and the public regarding security requirements
