The role
Frank Marketing is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to own the day-to-day set-up, management and optimisation of paid campaigns across social and search for a growing portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role. You will be the paid media specialist within the agency, taking ownership of campaigns from planning and build through to optimisation and reporting.
Paid social is the heart of this role, so we are looking for someone who is genuinely strong across Meta and confident building, running and scaling paid social campaigns. You will also plan and run paid search through Google Ads, so a solid grounding in search is important too.
We currently run paid activity for around 5 to 6 clients, all property brands, and expect this to grow to roughly 10 over the coming months. Most are smaller B2C accounts such as estate and letting agents, with our largest being a B2B client running across both social and search. As the person who owns paid media day to day, you will have real scope to shape how the function grows and develops.

Key responsibilities
- Own the set-up, day-to-day management and optimisation of paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) as the core of the role.
- Plan, build and run paid search campaigns through Google Ads, including Search and Performance Max, and Microsoft Ads where relevant.
- Develop audience, targeting and creative testing plans, and run A/B tests to improve performance across both social and search.
- Manage budgets across the client portfolio, allocating spend to meet each client's objectives and return targets.
- Set up and maintain accurate tracking and measurement using GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
- Produce clear, client-ready performance reports with insights and recommended next steps.
- Work closely with account managers and the wider team so paid activity supports each client's broader marketing strategy.
- Stay on top of platform changes, new ad formats and best practice, and bring recommendations back to the team.
- Support new business by contributing paid media input to proposals and account audits.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Around 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience running paid social and paid search campaigns, ideally within an agency.
- Strong paid social skills across Meta, with the confidence to build, run and optimise campaigns end to end.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads across Search and Performance Max.
- Confident using GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console for tracking and measurement.
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and budgets at the same time.
- Analytical, able to turn campaign data into clear actions and recommendations.
- Strong written communication and the confidence to present results to clients.
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise across several accounts and deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience with LinkedIn ads.
- Google Ads and or Meta Blueprint certification.
- Experience with B2B lead generation as well as B2C.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools.

Pay: R28 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
