- BEng Chemical Engineering or BEng Metallurgical Engineering or BSc Chemical Engineering or B Tech Metallurgy (Essential/Minimum)
- BSc (Hons) Chemical Engineering or BEng (Hons) Metallurgical Engineering or B Degree (Hons) in a relevant field (Recommended/Desirable)
- Management Development Programme (Recommended/Desirable)
- 6-8 years of relevant operational experience in coal handling and preparation plants (Essential/Minimum)
- Experience in processing and high order modelling of coal handling and preparation plants (Essential/Minimum)
- Experience in design of coal handling and preparation plants, with additional experience in process modelling for other commodities recommended
- Project portfolio management experience in a mining environment (Recommended)

- Provide specialised competencies for the delivery of professional services in process engineering, focusing on coal and manganese.
- Develop and apply best practices related to processing simulation and high-order modeling across the organization, using tools like Python.
- Execute processing simulation and high-order modeling methods as inputs to Life of Mine and Value in Use processes integrated with geoscience, mining, and marketing.
- Support benchmarking and sharing of best practices in the operational performance of processing within the company.
- Lead initiatives to increase awareness in the group of technological advancements regarding processing and high-order modeling.
- Participate in assurance and review processes related to business plans, operations, and projects to ensure alignment with group objectives.
- Manage project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction, focusing on accuracy and reliability of metallurgy results.
- Collaborate with geoscience, mining, marketing, and other stakeholders to align processing practices and transfer knowledge across the group.
- Maintain a high-level awareness of customer and client requirements through extensive internal and external professional networks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Safety Health and Environmental policies, fostering a culture that prioritizes safety in all operations.
