ABOUT THE ROLE
Rich Paints is looking for a creative Junior Graphic Design and Content Creator Intern to support our marketing team.
You will design marketing materials, shoot and edit videos, take product photographs and create content for our social media platforms, website, advertising campaigns and printed materials.
This role suits someone who enjoys graphic design, photography, videography and social media content creation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design social media posts, posters, flyers and promotional materials
- Create content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Google Business Profile
- Shoot and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
- Record product demonstrations, customer projects, staff content and behind-the-scenes videos
- Visit customer sites and completed projects to capture photographs and videos
- Plan video ideas, scripts, shot lists and content concepts
- Edit videos by adding captions, music, voiceovers, logos and transitions
- Assist staff members during video shoots and guide them on camera
- Take professional photographs of Rich Paints products and completed projects
- Edit product, customer and project photographs
- Create before-and-after project content
- Design product catalogues, brochures, price lists and presentations
- Assist with product labels and packaging designs
- Prepare website banners, product images and digital advertisements
- Maintain consistent use of the Rich Paints logo, colours, fonts and brand standards
- Organise design files, video footage, photographs and marketing assets
- Prepare artwork for printing and digital publishing
- Assist with branded materials for events, exhibitions and promotions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
No formal qualification is required.
Applicants must have:
- A portfolio or samples of design and video work
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar design software
- Ability to shoot clear photographs and videos using a smartphone or camera
- Basic knowledge of CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar video-editing software
- Ability to create and edit social media videos
- Basic understanding of colour, layout, branding and typography
- Good computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Creativity and willingness to learn
- Confidence when working with people during video shoots
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Good communication and organisational skills
EXPERIENCE
Previous formal work experience is not required.
