The Multimedia Designer plays a key role in bringing the Communicare brand to life through engaging visual, digital, and multimedia content. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the successful candidate will work closely with teams across the organisation to create compelling content that supports marketing campaigns, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, corporate reputation, and brand awareness.
Areas of responsibility include:
Brand Management and Visual Identity, Multimedia Design and Content Production, Digital Marketing and Social Media Support, Photography, Videography and Editing, Creative Quality Assurance and Asset Management, Internal Communications and Stakeholder Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality visual content for print, digital, social media, presentations, campaigns, newsletters, events, and corporate communications.
- Ensure the consistent application and continuous enhancement of the Communicare brand identity across all communication channels.
- Design creative assets that effectively communicate organisational messages to a variety of audiences, translating complex information into engaging and accessible visual content.
- Create graphics, animations, short-form videos, infographics, presentations, and other multimedia content that supports marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Capture and edit professional photography and videography for housing developments, community programmes, leadership communication, events, and organisational campaigns.
- Manage and maintain multimedia assets, templates, source files, and creative libraries to ensure effective version control and easy accessibility.
- Review and quality assure all creative outputs for branding, accuracy, consistency, layout, and suitability before publication.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand communication needs, develop creative concepts, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
- Support internal communication initiatives by producing visually engaging content that enhances employee engagement and organisational culture.
- Keep abreast of emerging design trends, digital platforms, and creative technologies to continuously improve Communicare's visual communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Multimedia, Film, or a related field.
- At least two years' experience in a similar multimedia or graphic design role.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating multimedia, graphic design, photography, and digital content creation skills.
- Experience designing for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro (or equivalent design software).
- Experience in photography, videography, and basic video editing.
- Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A valid Code EB (08) driver's licence.
