Job Title: Crane Truck Operator

Job Summary:
The Crane Truck Operator is responsible for operating a crane truck to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment at various construction sites and facilities. The operator must ensure safe and efficient operation, complying with all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of crane operations and load management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of the crane truck with no incidents or accidents.
- Accuracy and precision in lifting and placing loads.
- Compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Timely completion of lifting tasks and project requirements.
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date checklists, logs and reports
Minimum requirements:
- Physically fit and healthy
- Matric or equivalent
- Valid code EC driver’s license with PrDP, and with a clean driving record.
- Valid crane operator certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving a code EC vehicle full time.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a crane truck in construction or a related field.
- Experience with different types of crane trucks and lifting equipment.
- Strong knowledge of crane truck operation, load management, and safety protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work long and flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Willingness to work away from home for extended periods
Start date: Immediate
Package : R15 000 - R18 000 fixed package per month.
Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
Experience:
- Crane Truck Operator: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Crane Truck Operator competency certificate (Preferred)
