Full Job Description

A well-established and growing automotive retail business is seeking to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute its marketing strategy across multiple brands and dealerships.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded marketing professional who understands the automotive retail environment and has a proven track record of driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, lead generation and sales through innovative marketing initiatives.

Working closely with senior leadership, dealership management and external agencies, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns that support business growth while ensuring brand consistency across the dealership network.

Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned to business objectives.
Drive brand awareness and customer engagement across multiple dealerships and brands.
Develop annual marketing plans and campaign calendars.
Identify new marketing opportunities to increase market share and sales.

Digital Marketing

Manage all digital marketing initiatives including:
Social media
Google Ads
SEO
Email marketing
Website management
Monitor digital performance and optimise campaigns based on analytics.
Improve online lead generation and conversion rates.

Campaign Management

Plan, coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for:
New vehicle launches
Used vehicle campaigns
Aftersales
Parts and accessories
Service promotions
Finance and insurance products
Coordinate dealership events, promotions and sponsorships.

Brand Management

Ensure all marketing material aligns with OEM and corporate brand guidelines.
Work closely with OEM marketing teams where applicable.
Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Stakeholder Management

Liaise with dealership management, sales teams and senior executives.
Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners and suppliers.
Coordinate marketing activities across multiple branches where applicable.

Budget Management

Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
Monitor campaign ROI and marketing spend.
Produce regular reports on campaign performance and business impact.

Market Intelligence

Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour.
Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition and retention.
Track marketing KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role within the Automotive Retail sector.
Experience working within a dealership group, automotive OEM or automotive retail environment is essential.
Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
Strong digital marketing experience.
Experience managing marketing budgets and agencies.
Strong analytical and reporting capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and digital marketing platforms.

Pay: R25 000,00 - R45 000,00 per month
