About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, target-driven, and highly articulate B2B Telesales Executive to drive lead generation across two distinct business sectors: (skills development and corporate training) and an established Consulting Firm (financial and accounting services).

In this dual-focused role, you will be responsible for cold outreach, market research, and opening doors with key decision-makers in both large corporate environments and SMEs. You will qualify prospects and seamlessly hand over viable opportunities to the respective CEOs, who will drive discovery and close the deals.

Key Responsibilities

1.(Skills Development & Corporate Training)

Conduct market research to identify key decision-makers at large corporates and listed entities.
Target leadership within HR, Procurement, Business Development, and BEE Specialists.
Generate qualified leads for skills development, staff training, and learnership programs.
Capitalize on market seasonality tied to skills levies and BEE scorecard cycles.
Establish prospect interest and hand qualified opportunities over to the CEO for deal closure.

2. Accounting Firm (Financial & Accounting Services)

Conduct market research targeting Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across a broad range of revenue sizes.
Identify opportunities for accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management services.
Establish prospect interest and hand off confirmed opportunities to the CEO for discovery and closure.

3. General & Operational Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and manage an independent prospect database across both target markets.
Execute high-volume outbound telesales calls to meet and exceed weekly KPIs.
Maintain meticulous records of outreach, interactions, and follow-ups using agreed-upon lead generation templates.
Provide regular feedback on market opportunities, trends, and prospect objections.
Work collaboratively with management teams from both businesses.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Volume: Minimum of 5 qualified leads submitted per week.
Lead Quality: High lead confirmation rate (percentage of leads confirmed as genuine opportunities upon CEO review).
Targeting: High decision-maker fit rate (verified contact with HR, Procurement, or Business Development leads).
Activity: Seasonally-adjusted call and dial activity aligned with corporate levy/BEE cycles.

Accounting Firm

Volume: Minimum of 5 qualified leads submitted per week.
Lead Quality: High lead confirmation rate following review.
Efficiency: Fast time-to-handoff (routing leads for review within agreed turnaround times after first contact).
Activity: Meeting weekly call and dial volume targets.

Overall Metrics

Consistent weekly call volume and contact attempts.
Strong alignment with prospect fit and lead quality standards.
Active participation in weekly check-ins with both management teams.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Essential Requirements

Experience: Proven background in B2B telesales, outbound lead generation, or business development.
Market Exposure: Demonstrated experience selling into large corporates, listed entities, and/or SMEs.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional, articulate, and persuasive on the phone.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software/lead tracking tools.
