Are you passionate about the family entertainment industry and looking to kickstart your career in finance? We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable person to join our dynamic team!

Position: Junior Accounts Payable
Location: Pretoria – N4 Gateway Industrial Park
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Own Transport will be beneficial
Salary: R 7,000 per month (negotiable)

Responsibilities:

Process recurring invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are up to date.
Prepare weekly payment schedules and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) requests to facilitate timely vendor payments.
Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, payment records, and other important documents to support general administrative duties.
Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable, including reconciliation of accounts and collaboration with the finance team.
Provide support during audits and respond to inquiries regarding accounts payable transactions.
Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.

Competencies:

Must be computer literate with proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Minimum educational qualification: Grade 12; further studies in finance or accounting is an advantage.
At least 1 year of relevant experience with basic knowledge of accounting systems.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
