Requirements

The Role

Achieve and exceed annual sales targets across South Africa and selected Sub-Saharan African regions.
Drive strategic market development initiatives across all sales channels to increase market share and profitability.
Identify, appoint, develop, and monitor distribution partners to ensure strong market performance.
Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to proposal presentation, value demonstration, negotiation, and deal closure.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through in-person meetings, telephone engagement, and digital communication channels.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, visit reports, quotations, and sales activities within the CRM system.
Represent the business at seminars, exhibitions, and other marketing and industry events.
Ensure effective and efficient territory coverage and account management.
Coach, support, and train distribution partners to strengthen market presence and performance.
Contribute to business planning and sales strategy development to support revenue growth and target achievement.

Your Profile

Degree qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial or technical sales environments.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational, planning, and follow-up abilities.
Good understanding of general industrial markets and customer environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience with assembly tools and fastening solutions would be advantageous.
Previous experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Sales-driven, energetic, and results-oriented mindset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Team-oriented with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous customer satisfaction improvement.
