POST : OFFICE ASSISTANT (Reference: OVG/2026/07)

SALARY : R 347 220,08 per annum (Level 07) Basic Salary Per Annum
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Provide comprehensive administrative support to all business units within OVG. Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external inquiries, offering professional and courteous assistance. Efficiently organize and maintain documents, records, and files, adhering to the highest standards of data confidentiality. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events, taking proactive measures to ensure all arrangements are in place. Collaborate closely with colleagues and managers to support their needs and facilitate efficient teamwork
REQUIREMENTS
Formal Qualifications: A National Diploma in Office Management, Public Management, Public Administration, or related field.
Job-Related Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in an administrative role.
Job Related Knowledge: Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with office equipment and procedures. Basic understanding of administrative and organizational principles.
Other (advantageous): Proven experience in coordinating meetings, events, or office logistics. Familiarity with document management and filing systems. Prior experience in travel coordination or administrative support. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Familiarity with data privacy and security practices.
