Full Job Description

We are looking for an organized, accurate and dependable Stock Controller & Administrative Assistant to join our team Full Time.

This is a hands-on position combining stock control, inventory administration and general administrative duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that stock records are accurate, stock movements are properly recorded, and the administrative side of the business is kept organised and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Capturing stock received accurately on the system
Monitoring stock levels and stock movements
Conducting regular stock counts and assisting with stocktakes
Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
Ensuring products are correctly labelled, recorded and allocated
Processing stock transfers, adjustments and related documentation
Maintaining accurate inventory and administrative records
Filing and organising invoices, delivery notes and other documentation
Capturing information and maintaining spreadsheets
General office and administrative duties
Liaising with colleagues to ensure stock requirements are handled efficiently
Keeping the stock and administrative areas organized and well controlled
Answering Phones and assisting with over the counter sales.

Requirements

Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing or a similar role
Administrative experience
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time-management skills
Comfortable working with numbers and reconciling discrepancies
Able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
Good written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, punctual and professional

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is methodical, responsible and detail-oriented. You should enjoy keeping things organised, spotting discrepancies and making sure that records match what is physically in stock.

This position would suit someone who is comfortable moving between hands-on stock control and computer-based administrative work during the course of the day.
