Webmaster
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 5 years previous work experience in a Retail/Marketing environment.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Proven experience as a webmaster in a similar role, with a strong background in SEO optimization.
- Knowledge of digital advertising and marketing principles, with experience in implementing successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website administration.
- Excellent understanding of SEO techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and analytics.
- Adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly marketing, risk and IT.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to perform tasks effectively with little supervision.
Duties (but not limited to):
- Website Management: Regularly updating and maintaining the website to ensure it functions correctly, remains secure, and delivers a positive user experience.
- Content Management: Adding, editing, and removing website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
- Web Design: Implementing and managing the website's design, layout, and user interface to ensure it is visually appealing and user-friendly.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Monitoring web pages and content for search engine rankings and organic traffic to the website.
- Web Analytics: Monitoring website traffic, user behavior, and other relevant metrics using tools like Google Analytics to gain insights and inform and report data-driven decisions.
- Website Performance: Regularly monitor and optimize website performance, including page load times, server responsiveness and event loading
- CRM & Backend Systems Architecture: understand the data flows between the core business logic and the customer interface in terms of Systems Mapping, Data Synchronization and Schema alignment.
- API integration: Trained in the full lifecycle of API integration, from initial authentication to endpoint mapping and error handling. Ability to evaluate and implement integration capabilities within 3rd party vendor tools and custom-built internal environments.
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of data by performing thorough audits, validations, and regular data checks and updates and fills in gaps for data hygiene and maintenance.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the website from cyber threats, such as malware, hacking attempts, and data breaches.
- Data Processing & business intelligence: Trained in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to move data from backend/CRM systems into reporting environments.
- User Support: Addressing user inquiries, feedback, and technical issues related to the website. Troubleshoots and corrects issues as they arise.
- Website Testing: Conduct regular testing, including cross-browser and cross device compatibility testing, to ensure the website works well on different platforms.
- Domain and Hosting Management: Overseeing domain registration, renewal, and managing website hosting services.
- Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Java, PHP, XML, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.
