Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a dynamic software development team supporting enterprise-grade municipal and financial system solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Java-based applications while collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, testers, and other development team members.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern Java development frameworks, microservices architecture, front-end technologies, database development, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of Java development experience in enterprise environments.
Proven experience working with Spring Boot and Microservices architectures.
Experience working with SQL Server databases.
Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
Develop and support RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Participate in solution design, technical analysis, and system architecture discussions.
Develop and enhance front-end user interfaces using modern web technologies.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, project managers, and support teams.
Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and development planning activities.
Take ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables.
