We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a dynamic software development team supporting enterprise-grade municipal and financial system solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Java-based applications while collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, testers, and other development team members.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern Java development frameworks, microservices architecture, front-end technologies, database development, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of Java development experience in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience working with Spring Boot and Microservices architectures.
- Experience working with SQL Server databases.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Develop and support RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Participate in solution design, technical analysis, and system architecture discussions.
- Develop and enhance front-end user interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, project managers, and support teams.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and development planning activities.
- Take ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables.
