As a Software Engineer, you'll work on enterprise-scale applications used by organisations across multiple industries. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and deliver high-quality software that solves real business challenges.
This is a hands-on development role where you'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to modern architectures, and continuously grow your skills.
Design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications.
Build scalable backend services and APIs.
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers and QA Engineers.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design.
Review code and contribute to engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot, optimise and improve existing systems.
Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Commercial experience developing software using Java or C#/.NET.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience working with Git and modern development workflows.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.
CI/CD pipeline experience.
Frontend experience with Angular or React is advantageous.
Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
3+ years' commercial software development experience (Mid-Level).
6+ years' commercial software development experience (Senior-Level).
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
Based in South Africa.
