We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business needs, identifying process improvement opportunities, gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring that business solutions align with organisational objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, stakeholder management, and business process re-engineering skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to identify and analyse business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
- Document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Analyse and redesign business processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and business process documentation.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend business improvement initiatives.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change management activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and subject matter experts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure business solutions align with strategic objectives and governance requirements.
- Prepare business cases, reports, and presentations for management.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure business requirements are met.
Minimum RequirementsQualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in one of the following:
- Business Analysis
- Information Systems
- Commerce
- Supply Chain Management
- Or a related qualification.
Professional Certification
One of the following:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Business Analysis Certification aligned to NQF Level 6 or 7
- Other recognised Business Analysis certification.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years' experience in:
- Business Analysis
- Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)
- Business Process Improvement
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Stakeholder Management
- Business Process Modelling
