Fast paced production, but less dedicated people, less accountable employees
Transnet less consider learned people especially in management, training under job orientation is not there, you do how you think & has lot of blaming culture under its OD's, less departments are taking accountability when things are not going well. OD's are still the defensive mode at all times, hence poor performance
ProsIncentives
ConsLong hours working, lot of conferences and work calls while you're home with the family

I will really appreciate to get an offer to be of the Transnet employee. I will really that chance to the fullest
It will be a great benefit to have me in your company because I'm that kind of person who always will to give motive words to my surroundings or colleagues. So as we all know that some of us needs someone to motivate in order to clim up high so to have me in your company it will be a great feeling and a great benefit.
ProsYes they provide with beverages
ConsNot too long. It's was maintainable

Good company
Best company to work for. Unfortunately it is often used as a stepping stone to most who are not interested in making a positive impact. Being happy in this company means not expecting anything in return, just giving your best, following policy and procedure at all times. If you do this, you will most certainly reap the benefits. I am extremely grateful to be working here, proud to be a Transnet employee.

Little room for growth and toxic management
There's litte room to grow for lower level hard working individuals. It gets difficult to balance personal life and work because of the volume of work. They don't usually fill vacant posts of people who leave and an individual ends up doing work above their capacity. There's little support from management so it gets difficult to carry out tasks effectively.

Leadership is a big determinant to an employees experience of what is otherwise an incredible place to work.
The wheels turn slow, however it is an incredible experience working at one of the largest organisations in the country. Management can't be a hindrance to speed to execution.
ProsVaried experience.
ConsRed tape

Good company to work for
Transnet is one of the best and big companies in south africa, once you get employed you feel at home and your job is secured, one disadvantage is that you have little time with family which i guess it's related to industry work conditions, other than that it's a nice company to work for. It's just that now the company is not doing well as before due to economy dropping in south africa and the pandemic is not helping, due to this they even offering voluntary packages which to me is a sign that they are not doing well.
ProsPerformance bonuses
ConsShortage of jobs
