Theres no fun in the workplace always busy
To be part of the biggest company all over the world it's an honour to work for, for the past years that ive been working in pep it's not so good as it seems, they said that the company is a wealthy company to work for but as I've seen it's not true ,in my area where am working our management it's not good we as the staff must work long hours and after hours but don't get overtime, we are working over weekends till late we can't even go out on weekends or spent time with our family and friends because we are always working and that's not right when we try to talk to our manager she doesn't listen to us we must ask for a day or so to just get sum rest how does the manager get more day's off but when we as staff just ask than we can't get a day to rest and how can PEP say they are a wealthy company when our salaries is not so good we must work very hard but doesn't even see what we are working for through the month, and how can the p27 do the permanents job but don't get rewarded for that they are doing the most work in the work place but they salaries is up 2, 500rand n week how does that work for all their hard work, I think it's pathetic

Afforded opportunity to grow in management
in as much as there are policies but there was always a room to grow, learn new ways each day to solve problems and perform tasks better as time goes by, managing by focusing on interpersonal dynamics , understanding others and yourself, let the policies govern you and lead by example. hardest part of the job was having to discipline staff , you cannot control what emotional feedback you will get the challenge will be how well you handle it always backing myself was always an exciting thing for me, that means study and be knowledgeable so that you know how to stand firm in you post there is nothing as exciting as having answers to most of the questions. and luckily for me I was afforded a chance to run the Regional CSI projects which on two consecutive years for the first time in our Region I won them awards for
Prosgood sales came with rewards so i treated my staff and also elebrated their birthdays

Productive and educational workplace
I have learned a lot of things about the reatail industry and i also got the chance to gain experience in most of the things that im taught in theory at school. my manager is a very friendly person always open to new ideas, likes people who think out of the box also very strict when it comes to doing your job. my co workers are also very friendly like helpng where help is needed. the hardest part of my job is when it comes to cashing up coz if the float is short you have to pay out of your own pocket, so there shouldnt be any problems when it comes to that, therefore you need to leave your problem at home when entering at work because there isn't rom for any mistakes. most enjoyable part of my job is helping customers choose what they want, that is when i get to use my customer skills and negotiate with the customers and sometimes seal a deal.

fun
at Pep a day i will have a different task to do. maybe i will be doing a sock packing the whole day. the next day i will be doing a stock taking. then at the till when it busy because i was fast with helping customer since computer is my thing. i would also take calls for the manager. what i learn at Pep is that you have to be patience and always put a smile when serving a customer. and learn working with different people. and learn using computer for different thing except using Ms word. the work culture was that we had a very target profit that we have to meet, so by doing that we had to come with different strategy to make make come and buy at pep. but the hardest thing was that sometimes you had to do maybe three jobs at the same time. i enjoyed the job when it come to working at the till and get to learn different languages.

Working at pep was very helpful
Working at pep gave me lot of experience on how to work in a different environment usual working with people and also then experience on how to treat other people at work. As the result I regard my self as a better person in term of communicating and interacting with others. I also gain some different skills as well on how to become a good problem resolver, the management was also in good hands as well.I never had the most hardest part of the job because I am always awear of anything......The most enjoyable part of the job is to see the work being well done and the management being happy all the time as well as other employees

interactive workplace
a typical day at work would be selling clothes and cellphones to customers and making sure they get the best service ever. What i have learned is that every customer is different and therefore you have to treat each customer according to their special needs. Pep managers and workers are the best we are the dynamos in pep stores.. the hardest part of the job was when a customer is not satisfied and hes shouting at you in front of everybody and the most enjoyably was having to interact with different people everyday

productivity and friendly work place
I see Pep as a good company. They give someone a chance to prove herself. They train you where necessary. The Management are so friendly. Even the staff is so friendly. A typical day at work is when I arrive early, whereas i was to start at 10 am, I came at 8 am. I learn to operate the till. and merchandising. Management is so good. My co-worker treat me very good. the hardest part of the job is merchandising. the most enjoyable part at work is operating till.

productive and a fun workplace to be at.
When recieving new stork and putting it to display have tought me to work under pressure and hard, on the other hand maintaining order and a well advanced management between work, fellow worker`s and customer`s.I have enjoyed working under pressure and building a trust relationship with my fellow worker`s and our customer`s, and also learned that punctuality is a key. When working with other people its good to reflect what u expect from them such as respect, coorperation and trust.

Friendly Staff Good Atmosphere to work in
I have worked briefly in the customer service department for about 4-5 years, on and off, as it was partime and rather irregular. The manager was from London and was very friendly and courteous. I briefly had dealings with the main office and they all appeared to be up front and polite. Higher management I haven't had alot to do with, but did come across the Boss' Son, who had to be taken in hand at the time for Office Harrassment, not for myself but for other staff that I worked with. I was seen to be the Supervisor in the Office, when the Manager popped out. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the Manager of the call centre was easy going and got most of the time what he wanted from his temp workers. The job was easy, warm calling customers outbound, to go to venues at the weekends with used cars or fleet garages. As well as holiday homes and a number of other adhoc jobs that came along e.g. secret shopper.
ProsA small family business that made you feel part of the family
ConsNo regular hours, nothing permanent.

Consformation trop restrictive.

PEP is a fun place to work and provides fun activites for the employees.
PEP is an organization that help others. As a Case Manager I would help ex offenders get their documents such as social security card and Identification card along with assisting them with getting them clothes. I also would help them find jobs .I learned that people deserve a chance and when given one most will do great. Sometime when a person has moral support they will be successful. Management is great about have the culture being fun. What I enjoyed about working at PEP is the activities that are prepared for the employees.
ProsFun place the work
ConsNot being able to help the ones that doesn't want the help
