Overall Reviews at EOH
Not my best experience
I am not sure if this is directly the fault of EOH as an organization, but my experience at EOH has been less than averagely satisfying. The management is my biggest disatifction.
Depending on Supporting Client - Must be motivated and Dedicated
EOH supports multiple clients.
Positions from Colleagues point of view are anywhere from very quiet to really hectic depending on where you are based.
Currently I personally find that i have to give 120% to keep my Environment up to my employer and Clients expectations so end up doing a lot of after hours work. Quite a stressful area.
As stated above though a lot of the positions are very well managed and from an administrators perspective, a good and fair working place.
ProsPush us for qualifications and pay for them.
ConsFree Overtime and 24 hour support is generally an expectation
i would love to work for company where their culture its friendly, challenging, motivating, engaging, nurturing, collaborative and diversity. They create a positive culture of leadership and mentoring. Make sure employees are comfortable collaborating with colleagues at all levels. Encourage one on one meetings various roles and teams.
No Indentification Who's Working Hard
Management never think about who's working hard and who'sknows the system well in the team and company never recognise who's working from last five to seven years and if they hire new consultants they dont no about SAP system and they getting high salaries what about who's working with EOH from last five to seven years they never increase even there is no review for consulatnts to increase salary who's working hard.
Productive, challenging , exciting and fun
A typical day for me woulod be to check emails, stock and engineers lists of clients for the day. Then see to all office mail, running of office and keeping it tidy. Also answering all calls, screening htem, taking messages and do folllows ups / call backs
I do work for multipule managers in the building as i'm always looking to asssit where needed, but only if my work is complete. This way i get to learn more about the business and other Business units withing our company.
I also assit with all interviews when taking on new staff, see to all existing staff members documentation and keep track of their performances and work attendance.
Most enjoyable part is when we have events planned and i get to not only assist in the planning of it but also get to go along on the day of the event. Events I did thus far is the Cape Town Jazz Festival, Cape Town Argus Cycle Tour, The JNB Met, Golf days also helped out with the presidential golf day, where I met most government officials.
I enjoy my job very much but I don't get paid for assisting other managers or the events that i help with. I dp it so that I can gain knowledge and I also feel that it is great exposure for me as everyone knows who I am and can rely on me when they need to "get the job done"
Prosfree lunches - good exposure to corporate world
Consno growth in department i'm working in
Working in this place was enjoyable. I learnt a lot of fellow consultants and enjoyed unlimited training. Employment practise is fair. I would recommend to all who care to know.
Very entrepreneurial culture
Really enjoyed working at EOH. They trusted me to make decisions and gave me the freedom to execute my job the way I saw fit. Benefits and bonus structure were also very competitive.

Great place to work. A bit top heavey in Executives and thererfore limited opportunity.
Company very fragment and solution delivery in a an integrated way is complex
ProsRespected Company in the Market
ConsFragmented business units
Productive, fun and a mentally stimulating place to work.
I truly looked forward to going to work. We were mentally challenged and appreciated. I learned a lot about product development and marketing and was instrumental in developing new lines. The company encouraged you making proud of what you were doing. If the company had not been bought out I would still be there.
ProsFun, challenging, uplifting and encouraging
ConsSometines long hours and weeks
