Overall Reviews at Cell C
Sales Representative | Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal | 08 Nov 2019
Worked as an external sales executive for a franchise owner in nelspruit. I found his vision warped and unclear. His requests changed as the month progressed. The position was Target specific that would have required time to get clients to migrate. However we were being pushed for small contracts that made no sense with the position as this was never our target market. I spent alot of time advertising on Facebook pages to get hits. Was a waste of time. The owner also lied to me when I resigned and j found the admin staff I. Possible and rude and difficult to work with

Fun , learning environment and built character
I worked with a team of hard working individuals and it helps me improve both my leadership abilities and problem solving skills. I
have learnt how to use the advanced skills of using a computer
The management is professional
The work culture was very energetic and upbeat while remaining very
professional with clients outside of the business building. The management style was that of an open door policy where one could approach management for assistance.
Overall the colleagues were like a second family
handling calls from the customer was the best since you able to make sure that the cell c brand always stands best no meter how irate the customer might be.
The management would go the extra mill to help the agents be able to win the conversation and also stay with the company.
i then released that being patient and being calm would help you resolve any query.
We learn about different cultures and belief and still be able to keep the spirit of Ubuntu in the work place.
ProsGreat parties, staff discounts

going different places
I learned how to work with people and good communicating skills, it was not a challenge to me to reach a day target, it becomes hard to get to the target in rainy days.
Prosbe on time

Fun but challenging
It was fun but also challenging when it came to convincing clients to buy the product. I learnt that being patient can only benefit you. The nature of the job was flexible and your earnings were determined by the sales you made per day.

CellC was one of the best company I know interms of encouraging staff to do their best at work.
Company was good in terms of basic conditions of service and the compliance of health and safety of employees in the work place. Unfortunately they had to shut down some of their departments which resulted on retrenching staff who were working on those departments, so I lost my job in that way.
