Cell C Franchise
A typical day at work would be reasonably quiet for most of the day. When it did get busy for a few moments, you had to Rica Sim cards, upgrade clients contracts, try to attract new customers. I learned how to work with cell phones, how to identify fake ID's and to prevent fraud. I improved on my communication skills, especially because I worked with foreigners quiet often and that in turn increased my patience. Management was not very professional as they made you work over time without pay and you were only allowed one day off. You also got paid very little for the amount of work and time you put into the job. I worked with a very good team. Everyone assisted each other, corrected each other when needed and got along very well. Everyone was very hard working. The hardest part of the job was communicating with people who could not understand English very well and trying to explain the packages to them. The most enjoyable part of my job was making sure the customers were happy with the service that they received.

Vibrant and fast paced fun youthful enviroment
Working with customers and ensuring their satisfaction is the main factor in this job enviroment. I travelled alot doin cold calling and being a person who is able to communicate at the level of the client helped me achieve my targets. In this enviroment team work does not apply very much as everybody has their own targets to achieve, so it can be very competitive. Thers alot of obstacles and challenges when dealing with a team that yields only ONE top seller, but in the end the results are satisfying!
ProsCompany vehicle with free kilometers for personal use.
ConsExtra long hours
