Service Centre Sales Consultant
A typical day at work would be doing customer queries, Check the warehouse stock availability in order to prepare for the next order, check if the orders i have placed last week and during the week have arrived and basically receive them into stock, as the 2IC when my suipervisor is not available i have to see to it that all customers leave the Service Centre happy and satisfied with the service received from other Sales Consultant. Check which Handsets are new on the market and make sure i see whether the warehouse has them or not. Ask across other departments administrators what handsets they might need from us that we currently don't have and then place the order. Had such a great team to work with. The hardest Part of the Job comes when i have a traffic of orders waiting to be done while sometimes stock would be short and i have to place orders and Customers are also queuing for assistance, then my boss would insist that i finish the orders but then on the other had her boss does not want to see the queue, so he would come directly to me and insist that i do clients and leave everything im doing, is like i have to divide myself, just the feeling i would get whenever that happened.
The Fun part of my job would basically be everything about customer service and having very nice and friendly customers, what makes up most of my day would be seeing everyone walking out of the service centre happy.
Prosperfomance bonus, incentives, employee of the month incentives
Conssometimes no lunch straight 9 hour work, stock take discrepancies

Good company. Not so good if franchise owned. There are many day to day difficulties regarding the sales job. Many jobs combined. From admin to cleaner yet job title states sales consultant. The salary is all we stay for.
ProsSalary and incentives
ConsThe intensity of the job. Many jobs combined

Competitive and good working enviroment
You have to be passionate about your work , every thing was about competition because you have to reach your target and sometimes is hard to get customers

Productive, contributive fun workplace.
Synergistic way of working in store with each consultant contributing towards everyone acheiving the same goals. Absolute pleasure meeting and building good relations with clients although pay is at the lowest, always increasing targets making it near impossible to reach. Constantly decreasing commission payouts. No benifits and forget about salary increase even if you are a top performing consultant. (Cell C Franchise
ProsIncentives paid regulary from cell phone companies -Hauwei, Samsung etc
ConsDuties are way to excessive for the amount paid and you have to clean store no cleaner employed.

Enjoyed working at Cell C because of the environment and what it's offers as well.
I made lots of money at Cell C and they always had wonderful incentives.
Basic , Commission , incentives and bonuses.
It's a nice environment to work in and the hours are flexible as well with 1 Marathon day a week which also helps cover up for your targets if not met.
